1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser or device when you visit it, and which enables information about your browsing to be retrieved. In this Policy we use the term “cookies” in a broad sense, also covering other technologies for storing and retrieving data on the user’s equipment with equivalent effects: local storage, session storage, pixels, web beacons, fingerprinting, device identifiers and SDKs.

The use of these devices is governed by article 22.2 of Ley 34/2002, de 11 de julio, de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Información y de Comercio Electrónico (Spanish Information Society Services and E-Commerce Act, “LSSI-CE”) and, as regards the processing of personal data, by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (the Spanish Data Protection Act, “LOPDGDD”). This Policy follows the criteria of the Guía sobre el uso de las cookies (Guide on the use of cookies) of the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency, “AEPD”).

2. Who uses cookies on this site

This website uses first-party cookies (managed by us) and third-party cookies (managed by external providers supplying services integrated into the site, such as the support chat, the booking calendar, analytics or advertising measurement).

3. Types of cookies we use

3.1 By purpose

a) Technical or necessary cookies (exempt from consent). These are essential for the website to function and to provide the services you expressly request. Among other things, they enable communication between your equipment and the network, navigation between pages, the retention of the items making up a form, security against attacks and the storage of your cookie preferences. They do not require your consent in accordance with article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE, although we inform you of their existence for the sake of transparency.

b) Preference or personalisation cookies. These enable information to be remembered so that the site is presented in a way adapted to you, for example the language selected or the region from which you access it. They require your consent where they do not respond to an express choice made by you in that same session.

c) Analytics or measurement cookies. These make it possible to quantify the number of visitors and to analyse how the website is used, in order to improve the range of content and services. They require your consent.

d) Advertising and behavioural advertising cookies. These make it possible to manage advertising spaces, measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and, where applicable, display advertising tailored to your browsing habits. They require your consent.

3.2 By who manages them

• First-party: sent and managed from a domain managed by UnoRed.

• Third-party: sent and managed by a different entity, which may also process the data obtained for its own purposes.

3.3 By duration

• Session: deleted when the browser is closed.

• Persistent: remain stored for the period indicated in the table in section 4, unless you delete them beforehand.

4. Detailed list of cookies

This website is built on the Framer platform, which does not install any cookie by itself and whose statistics tool does not use cookies or generate persistent identifiers. As a result, all the cookies that may be installed in your browser come from the additional features integrated into the site that are set out below.

Cookies that are not strictly necessary are not installed until you give your consent. Third-party widgets and content that install cookies remain blocked until that time.

International transfers. Cookies marked “USA” mean the provider processes the data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. See section 9.

4.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These are always installed, without the need for consent, because they are essential for the site to work and for your own preferences to be respected.

4.2 Support chat and booking calendar

These require your prior consent, except for the security cookies in section 4.1.

These services also use local storage in your browser (_ud and keys associated with the chat widget) to retain the data you have entered and the state of the conversation. You can remove it by deleting the site data from your browser.

4.3 Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4)

These require your prior consent.

Your browser may reduce the actual duration of these cookies below the period indicated.

4.4 Advertising and campaign measurement

These require your prior consent.

4.5 Embedded video

These require your prior consent. The player remains blocked until you authorise it.

The YouTube player also uses local storage and IndexedDB in your browser. For that reason the video remains blocked until you give your consent, even where the youtube-nocookie.com domain is used.

4.6 Online payments

These cookies are installed only on the pages where a payment form is offered. Their provider considers them necessary for fraud prevention; nevertheless, your consent is requested beforehand except where you have expressly started a payment process.

4.7 How to check the up-to-date list

The above list is reviewed periodically and each time a feature is added or removed. If you wish to check at any time the specific cookies that this site installs in your browser, you can consult them in the cookie settings panel accessible from the footer, or write to us at legal(at)unored(dot)es.

5. How to accept, configure and reject cookies

When you first access the website, an information banner is displayed which allows you, with the same degree of ease, to:

• Accept all cookies;

• Reject all non-necessary cookies; and

• Configure your preferences by purpose, by means of a panel accessed directly from the banner.

The reject button has the same visibility, format and ease of use as the accept button. Merely browsing the site, scrolling the page or closing the banner do not amount to acceptance of cookies. We do not use pre-ticked boxes or “cookie walls”: access to the site’s content is not conditional on your accepting cookies.

If you save your settings without selecting any purpose, you will be deemed to have rejected all non-necessary cookies.

6. How to withdraw consent

You may modify or withdraw your consent at any time and with the same ease with which you gave it, by accessing the cookie settings panel through the “Cookie settings” link permanently available in the footer of the website.

The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Please note that withdrawing consent prevents the installation of new cookies but does not automatically delete those already stored on your device: to delete them you must remove them from your browser (section 7) or, in the case of third-party cookies, from the third party’s own systems.

7. How to manage and delete cookies from your browser

You may allow, block or delete the cookies installed by means of your browser settings. Please note that blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the website from functioning correctly.

• Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.

• Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.

• Safari (macOS): Safari → Settings → Privacy.

• Safari (iOS): Settings → Safari → Privacy and security.

• Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

• Opera: Settings → Privacy and security.

Browsers also offer a private browsing mode, which allows you to browse without retaining the history or cookies at the end of the session.

8. Validity of consent

We keep your choice for a maximum of twenty-four (24) months, after which we will ask for your consent again, following the good practice criterion of the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. During that period we will not show you the banner again, unless:

• you delete the cookies from your browser;

• the purposes for which the cookies are used change; or

• new third parties that install cookies are incorporated.

In these last two cases we will update this Policy and ask you for a new decision.

9. Personal data, international transfers and your rights

The information obtained by means of cookies may constitute personal data (for example, the IP address or device identifiers). Its processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, where you will find full information on purposes, retention, recipients and how to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, as well as your right to lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).

Some of the third parties identified in section 4 are established outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. In those cases the transfer is covered by the adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, supplemented by additional measures where necessary. The specific mechanism applicable to each third party is indicated in the tables in section 4. You may request a copy of those safeguards at legal(at)unored(dot)es.

We inform you that the transfer of data to third countries may mean that your data becomes subject to legislation that does not guarantee a level of protection equivalent to that of the European Economic Area, and that the exercise of your rights before those authorities may prove more difficult.

10. Updates to this Policy

This Cookie Policy may be modified where the cookies used, their purposes, the third parties involved or the applicable legislation change. We recommend that you consult it periodically. The date of last update appears in the heading.
